Alumni Profiles

Dr Joachim Steckelberg completed his degree in chemistry at JMU in 1994. He subsequently obtained his PhD at the Technical University of Braunschweig. He now works as site manager at Next Pharma in Berlin.

After her first state examination, Dr Scheitl decided to pursue a Master's degree in "MINT Lehramt Plus." She then completed her doctorate at AK Höbartner in the field of bioorganic chemistry / nucleic acid chemistry and continues to work there as a postdoc.

Dr. Joydip De completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, India, in 2021. He now works as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow on our Faculty.

Tobias Göbel completed his Master's degree in Functional Materials at JMU in 2021. He now works as a research assistant and deputy group leader at the SKZ here in Würzburg.

Dr Stefan Dilsky completed his diploma (1999) and doctorate (2003) in chemistry at our faculty. He is now New Business Development Manager Phase Separation at BASF.
