Five universities in Bavaria are supported by the state-wide Joint Project "Solar Technologies Go Hybrid" to explore new concepts for converting solar energy into electricity and non-fossil fuels. On October 17th, the project was officially launched in Munich.

Chemists and physicists at the Center for Nanosystems Chemistry have initiated a new collaboration at the University of Wuerzburg. The aim of their work is to design and produce novel materials with tailored properties for efficient interaction with light.
