In the past ten years, apprentices from the University of Würzburg have been honored as outstanding by the IHK Würzburg-Schweinfurt for the sixth time. Thus, the University of Würzburg is not only the largest, but also by far the most successful training institution for chemical laboratory technicians in the region. With 98 out of 100 points Olga Anhalt equaled the previous record from 2012.

Olga started her education in September 2015. It soon turned out that she is an exceptionally talented trainee who consistently achieves excellent grades, which is why the training period has been shortened by seven months. Instead of joining the fourth vocational school year, Olga had to learn parts of the examination topics by herself. Even more amazing is her outstanding examination result.

To the delight of her instructors, Olga Anhalt decided to stay at the University of Würzburg although she would have had best chances of getting a very well paid job in the chemical industry. Since the end of July, she has been working as a chemical laboratory assistant at the Center for Nanosystems Chemistry.
