Leonard Fink received the Young Researcher Award at the 51st German Liquid Crystal Conference in Göttingen for his outstanding oral contribution
04/23/2025Leonard Fink was honoured with the Young Scientist Award of the “German Liquid Crystal Society” (DFKG) for his presentation “New BTT-based star mesogens with broad and highly ordered mesophases bearing great potential for technical applications” at the “51st German Liquid Crystal Conference” in Göttingen.
This interdisciplinary conference traditionally honours the best poster and the best presentation by young scientists. The Lehmann working group was represented with a total of two presentations and one poster. Leonard Fink's research focusses on the synthesis and investigation of semiconducting discotic liquid crystals and their potential applications in organic electronics.
