Poster award for Andreas Kraft

The jury selected his presentation entitled "Design and Synthesis of Three-Dimensional Metal-Fullerene Frameworks" out of more than 300 student contributions showcasing recent progress on his collaborative work together with the group of Prof. Klaus Müller-Buschbaum at the Institut of Inorganic Chemistry.  In this poster, the authors Andreas Kraft, Tobias Wehner, Klaus Müller-Buschbaum and Florian Beuerle reported on the implementation of highly functionalized fullerene derivatives as connectivity centers in MOFs. For the long term, this type of new materials might be promising candidates for sensing or gas-storage applications.
