Dr. Prince Ravat, junior group leader at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, was awarded the 2022 Thieme Chemistry Journals Award

The prize, awarded since 1999, includes a one-year subscriptions to the journals SYNTHESIS, SYNLETT, and SYNFACTS. It is awarded by the editors of these journals to young researchers where a very successful academic career in the field of organic synthetic chemistry is expected.

Prince Ravat has already received numerous awards and scholarships. Since 2018, he has been funded by the Excellent Ideas Program of the University of Würzburg and is currently leading a junior research group as an independent Emil Fischer Fellow of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy.
