Humboldt fellowship awarded to Xiaobo Hu

Xiaobo Hu has previously worked on synthetic ion channels (Master thesis at Fudan University in Shanghai, Supervisor Jun-Li Hou) and synthetic foldamers (PhD thesis at the University of Bordeaux, Supervisor Ivan Huc).

Now he plans to work on cyclophanes, rotaxanes and foldamers of perylene and merocyanine dyes at our university. Over a period of two years this will be sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation by means of a Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship.
