With a chronological discourse on the scientific legacy of Prof. Siegfried Hünig and his engagement for the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Würzburg Prof. Frank Würthner opens the Siegfried-Hünig-lecture 2015 at 4.45 pm. After presenting the certificate Prof. Ben L. Feringa fascinated a broad audience with a scientific firework.

Using intriguing examples for switchable agents, molecular motors and vehicles, this year’s speaker sparked a lively discussion which was also entered by many of the young scientists. With a final anecdote on the physical recognition of chirality the multiple honored scientist left towards home.
