Poly-2-oxazoline based block-copolymers for drug delivery: Structural Insights with solid-state NMR and complementary methods“. Now he is joining our workgroup as a research assistant! Good luck for your future master studies in Biofabrication!

Research on “PEG-Poly(amino acid) Block Copolymer Micelles for Drug Delivery” is continuing and after the structural insights we gained last year, our research with a new focus on the behaviour in “biorelevant media” is further supported by the Newton International Fellowship Alumni Funding 2020.

We are all very happy for Steffi, who handed in her Master's thesis on Friday 21th. With a change in topic due to the corona situation in Germany and the UK, where Steffi's collaborators are based, a unusual thesis came to a successful end!

For his paper "14N–1H HMQC solid-state NMR as a powerful toolto study amorphous formulations – an exemplary study of paclitaxel loaded polymer micelles", Marvin got the chance to design an Inside Front Cover, which is now available online!

We congratulate Julia for successfully finishing her Bachelor's thesis (despite the obstacles due to social distancing and home-office, etc.)

For her project „Complementary Tools for the Characterization of Complex Solid Materials” Ann-Christin Pöppler received one of the two prestigious Fulbright-Cottrell Awards 2020.

At the end of February, we got the positiv news of our first DFG funded project on "Struktur-Eigenschaftsbeziehungen für mit Wirkstoffe beladene Polymermizellen aus detaillierten Strukturinformationen von Festkörper NMR Spektroskopie Untersuchungen kombiniert mit komplementären Techniken".
