THE PÖPPLER GROUP: ORGANIC STRUCTURAL CHEMISTRY

Ann-Christin Pöppler

"Motivation comes from working on things we care about."
(Sheryl Sandberg)

I'm interested in the molecular level characterization of multicomponent polymeric nanoparticles for drug delivery. Materials are characterized in the solid state, as (hydro-)gels or in (biorelevant) solutions. One key aspect is the improved understanding of such systems, which yields detailed structure-property relations. These are a prerequisite for the second key aspect, the development of design ideas for improved materials.
