Nucleic Acid Chemistry Meeting 2023

On the occasion of the XI. Nucleic Acid Chemistry Meeting of the DNG (German Nucleic Acid Society) about 120 researchers gathered at the University of Würzburg from 14th to 15th of September 2023, exchanging and discussing their most recent scientific results.

Twelve fascinating lectures were given and 64 posters were exhibited, accompanied by eleven poster flash talks. After two lively poster sessions, five poster prize winners were elected by all participants of the meeting.

Florian Weissenböck (Universität Münster): Photocaged 5' cap analogues for optical control of mRNA translation in cells

Rita Michenfelder (Karlsruher Institut für Technologie): DNA labelling in live cells via [2+2] photocycloaddition

Takumi Okuda (Universität Würzburg): Site-specific RNA modification by SAM-analogue utilizing ribozymes
