We recently welcomed Prof. Dr. Nick Virgilio from École Polytechnique Montréal as a visiting professor at the Chair of Chemical Technology of Materials Synthesis at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg.

We are pleased to welcome Elisha Clarke and Rafael Weich, both studying chemistry at the University of Würzburg, for their Bachelor theses!

Celine, Florian and Frank carried out applied X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) measurements during a recent beamtime at DESY Beamline P65.

We are happy to announce the successful delivery and installation of a new gas sorption device, significantly enhancing our experimental capabilities in surface and materials characterization.

Our team took part in the 9th ChemSyStM 2025 (Chemie Symposium der Studierenden Mainfrankens – Chemistry Symposium for Students in Main Franconia), organized by the JungesChemieForum (JCF) of the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg.

Lia obtained her B.Sc. in Biomedicine and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Biosciences at Julius Maximilians University Würzburg. She joined our group in November 2025 for a research internship
