A Warm Welcome to Prof. Wesley Chalifoux

23.01.2024

Professor Wesley Chalifoux has been awarded with an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship and is now joining our Lab for three months.

He is researching the synthesis, characterization and application of novel chiral nanographenes. During his stay, these will be investigated with regard to their chiroptical properties using our CD-CPL hybrid spectrometer. Using our thermal vapor deposition system, these promising materials can be incorporated into organic electronic components (OTFTs, SCFETs, OPV, OPD) and then measured in order to demonstrate their suitability as functional materials in organic electronics.

We are looking forward to collaborate with Professor Chalifoux during the next three months!
