Dr. Tapas Ghosh
Dr. Tapas Ghosh was member in the working group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Lehmann from December 2015 till the end of 2017 for his research on his topic "Synthesis and Thermotropic Properties of Symmetric and Unsymmetric Stars based on TTF/Fullerene and Triazine".
Before he joined our working group he was awarded the Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship.

Dr. Martin Lambov
Mr. Martin Lambov completed his PhD Thesis in January 2023 at the Julius-Maximilians Universität at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Lehmann. His dissertation topic was "Synthese und Struktur-Eigenschaftsbeziehungen neuartiger formtreuer Hybridsternmesogene".
Dr. Katrin Bahndorf
Mrs. Katrin Bahndorf completed her PhD Thesis in October 2021 at the Julius-Maximilians Universität at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Lehmann. Her dissertation topic was "Synthese und Charakterisierung von Aminosäure-basierten Amphiphilen und deren Umsetzung zu C3-symmetrischen Sternmesogenen - Strukturkontrolle in weicher Materie über Oligopeptidaggregation".
Dr. Moritz Dechant
Mr. Moritz Dechant completed his PhD Thesis in May 2021 at the Julius-Maximilians Universität at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Lehmann. His dissertation topic was "Synthese und Struktur-Eigenschaftsbeziehungen neuer Phthalocyanin-Stermesogene - Ein neues Design für organische, flüssigkristalline Photovoltaikmaterialien".
Dr. Philipp Maier
Mr. Philipp Maier completed his PhD Thesis in July 2019 at the Julius-Maximilians Universität at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Lehmann. His dissertation topic was "Synthese und Struktur-Eigenschafts-Beziehungen sterisch überfrachteter Sternmesogene mit hexasubstituiertem Benzolkern und ihrer Wirt-Gast-Mesogene".
Dr. Markus Hügel
Mr. Markus Hügel completed his PhD Thesis in July 2018 at the Julius-Maximilians Universität at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Lehmann. His dissertation topic was "The Controll of Nanomorphology in Starshaped Mesogens".
Dr. Stefan Maisch
Mr. Stefan Maisch completed his PhD Thesis in November 2017 at the Julius-Maximilians Universität at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Lehmann. His dissertation topic was "Synthese von V- und brettförmigen Nematogenen und die Untersuchung ihrer biaxialen Ordnung in Mesophasen".
Dr. Steffi Gloza
Mrs. Steffi Gloza completed her PhD Thesis in November 2014 at the Julius-Maximilians Universität at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Lehmann. Her dissertation topic was "Synthese und Charakterisierung von Anthracen- und Anthrachinon-substituierten sternförmigen Mesogenen".
