Research

Our research interests comprise the areas of spectroscopy, photochemistry and reaction dynamics. We investigate the structure and dynamics of isolated molecules - like radicals, carbenes, bioactive molecules, cluster and pi-conjugated molecules- as well as chemical reactions in solution. In our studies we use various laser spectroscopic methods, like time-resolved spectroscopy in the pico- and femtosecond domain, electronic spectroscopy and photofragment spectroscopy.
