After a little break AK Lehmann decided to go for another "little" run. Although this time it was not a 10 km run but we did our best for 8.4 km at the WVV-Firmenlauf.

Together with Prof. Dr. Ann-Christin Pöppler’s research group, we competed as “The Good, The Bad and the Anisotropics” in this year’s Chem-Cup at the University of Würzburg.

In addition to our work in the lab, we have also been athletically active as a group and participated in the 36. Würzburg Residenz-Run.

Our working group participated in the 52nd German Liquid Crystal Conference (GLCC 2026), held from 8–10 April 2026 at the University of Luxembourg, Campus Belval.

Leonard Fink was honoured with the Young Scientist Award of the “German Liquid Crystal Society” (DFKG) for his presentation “New BTT-based star mesogens with broad and highly ordered mesophases bearing great potential for technical applications” at the “51st German Liquid Crystal Conference” in Göttingen.
