    Dr. Dharmendra Singh

    Curriculum Vitae

    Dr. Dharmendra Singh obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Physics, the University of Lucknow in 2008 and 2016, respectively. He completed his Ph.D. on Liquid crystal-Nanocomposites. After completing his Ph.D.; he joined "Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale (ULCO)", France as a postdoctoral fellow in 2017. In September 2018, he joined the same university as a permanent member. Currently, he is an associate professor there. He is principally attached to the Engineering School and UDSMM laboratory of the ULCO. He is also the director of the First-year Industrial Engineering at the EILCO and POLE MTE research Council member of the ULCO. Presently he is supervising two Ph.D. thesis and acting as principal investigators for 5 international mobility projects and 3 university projects. He is the recipient of the Young Scientist Award by the Indian Science Congress in 2017 for physical sciences. He is the recipient of the best research award by the Indian Liquid Crystal Society in 2012. He is also the recipient of an early career award at Cambridge University in 2013, a Best research award by the Korean display society in 2015 and the Raman-Charpak fellowship which is a doctoral student exchange fellowship between India and France. He has published around 80 research articles including 3 book chapters in international journals like Physical Reviews, Journal of applied physics, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, Journal of Physical Chemistry B, and Journal of Physics D: Applied physics, etc. In addition to this, as a reviewer, he is also serving around 25 research journals from RSC, AIP, ACS, Elsevier, IOP, Wiley, and Springer.
