Lounge Areas

In addition to quiet workplaces in the Departmental Library, there are also a number of other workplaces in the premises of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy as well as Lounge Areas outside of the library, where you can, for example, meet and work in groups or just relax a bit.

A foyer with tables, benches and a large number of showcases and pinboards for announcements can be found in the central building of the Faculty ("Zentralbau Chemie") right around the Chemical Store and the Departmental Library. In the so-called "Plastikcafete" behind the Lecture Rooms A and B, there are, besides seating areas and tables, also machines for hot and cold beverages as well as snacks.
