Frankfurt Airport has its own train stop which is being operated by Deutsche Bahn (“Frankfurt (Main) Flughafen”). Long-distance trains (ICE, IC) to Würzburg are running almost every hour. Tickets can be bought at the Deutsche Bahn ticket counter at the railway station, or online via the Deutsche Bahn website. - Munich Airport
At the ticket counter or online via the Deutsche Bahn website. The Deutsche Bahn service desk is located at the Munich Airport Center in Terminal 1. It is open Mon.-Fri. and on Sundays from 7:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.; on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. There are vending machines near both of these locations where you can buy tickets for all Deutsche Bahn trains and the Munich public transportation system (MVV). Please note: Long-distance trains are not running directly from Munich airport, thus you have to travel to Munich central station using the public transportation (S-Bahn #8). From there you can change to an ICE to Würzburg.
From central station you can reach the campus "Am Hubland" via the bus lines 14 or 114, respectively.
Bus line 14: Take the bus line 14 (direction: "Gerbrunn") and exit at the stop "Am Hubland" (approx. 15 min). From the bus stop follow the walkway to the campus, crossing the "Theodor-Boveri-Weg".
After passing the main library and the cafeteria, the Faculty of Chemistry and the Institute of Pharmacy are located in the third builing to the right.
Linie 114 (does not run during the Bavarian summer and winter school holidays!): Take the bus line 114 (direction: "Fachhochschule") until its last stop "Hubland/Mensa" (approx. 20 min). Walk up the stairs and you will find yourself on the open space between the library (to the left) and the cafeteria (to the right). Turn right and after having passed the cafeteria you will directly be in front of the entrance of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy.

Drive on the motorway A3 until the exit "Würzburg-Heidingsfeld" (exit 70)
Take Bundesstraße 19 (yellow sign) in the direction of Würzburg
Drive across the River Main and follow the signs to"Wolfgang-Adami-Bad"
Follow the "Sanderheinrichsleitenweg" until you reach the campus "Am Hubland"
- from the direction of Nürnberg or Ulm:
Drive on the motorway A3 until the exit "Rottendorf" (exit 72)
Take Bundesstraße 8 (yellow sign) in the direction of Würzburg
Take the exit "Gerbrunn" and follow the signs to “Gerbrunn”
At the traffic light turn right and follow the signs to "Uni-Hubland"
- from direction of Fulda:
Drive on the motorway A7 until you reach the interchange "Würzburg-Estenfeld"

Arriving by Airplane & Train, then by Bus:
- There are direct trains from Frankfurt Airport to the Würzburg main train station at hourly intervals.The main train station links Würzburg directly to more than 30 major European cities. No less than 112 ICE, IC, EC, and D-Zug expresses service Würzburg every day.The bus terminal is situated right beside the station. Take the bus line 14 in the direction "Gerbrunn", and get off at the stop "Am Hubland".

Please note that the university buildings do not have regular street numbers but internal building numbers only. If you arrive at the junction you will see a large modern building which is your destination (C7).

Using motorway A7, coming from the north:
- Leave the motorway A7 at the junction Würzburg/Estenfeld (exit no. 101).
- Follow the highway B19 towards Würzburg (approx. 5 km).
- After passing the town sign "Würzburg" take the left lane ("Stadtring Süd").
- At the second traffic light: turn left into the street Rottendorfer Straße (direction "Gerbrunn").
- After approx. 1 km turn right into the street "Am Galgenberg" (direction "Gerbrunn").
- Follow the street for approx. 1 km, then turn right at the traffic light into the street "Am Hubland".
- The Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy is located on the left, after having passed the main library and the cafeteria (3rd building). Parking lots can be found along the street "Am Hubland".
Using motorway A7, coming from the south:
- Leave the motorway A7 at the junction Biebelried (exit no. 102) and change to the motorway A3 direction Frankfurt.
- Leave the motorway A3 at the junction Würzburg/Rottendorf (exit no. 72).
- Follow the highway B8 towards Würzburg (approx. 5 km).
- Leave the B8 at the exit Gerbrunn.
- Turn right into the street "Kitzinger Straße" (towards "Gerbrunn").
- Follow the "Kitzinger Straße" until it ends on a crossroad (approx. 2 km).
- Turn right into the street "Am Galgenberg".
- After approx. 500 m turn left at the second traffic light into the street "Am Hubland".

- Leave the motorway A81 at the motorway junction Würzburg-West (exit no. 1) and change to the motorway A3 towards Nürnberg.
- Leave the motorway A3 at the junction Würzburg-Heidingsfeld (exit no. 70).
- Cross the river Main, take the left lane and follow the ring road ("Stadtring").
- Leave the ring road towards Frauenland/Uni-Hubland and turn right into the street "Zeppelinstraße" (approx. 2 km).
- Follow the "Zeppelinstraße" through a residential area and up to the end. It leads into the crossroad "Am Hubland" (approx. 2 km).
- The Insitute of Pharmacy is directly located at this intersection. Parking lots can be found along the street "Am Hubland".
