Miriam Opens Winter Showcase 2026
05.02.2026Miriam recently participated as an invited speaker at the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Resilient Chemistry – Winter Showcase, held on February 2-3 and hosted jointly by University College Dublin and the University of Nottingham.
The annual event brought together doctoral researchers and academic and industrial partners to discuss transformative science aimed at making chemical processes more sustainable. Miriam opened the first day of the event with a keynote lecture on drawing inspiration from early earth chemistry to harness water for automated and sustainable materials synthesis. The programme also featured plenary contributions from industry and academia. Congratulations to all student presenters and prize winners, and many thanks to the organizers and their team for two inspiring days of scientific exchange!
