On December 13, 2024 Jessica Rühe successfully defended her PhD thesis on "Polycyclic Aromatic Bisimide Cyclophanes for Efficient Guest Complexation and Photofunctional Control". We congratulate Jessica and wish her all the best for her future career. 

At the Stiftungsfest in May 2025 she recieved the PhD award from the Unterfränkischen Gedenkjahrstiftung für Wissenschaft and the University of Würzburg for an excellent thesis (link to article). Congratulations!
