NIM NanoDay 2014

24.11.2014

Nanoscience for everybody – with members from “SolTech”

Valentin Kunz and Marcus Schulze

„Nano – what does that mean exactly? How is it able to work on that tiny scale? What is the use of the research results? “  Answers were given to these and similar questions at first hand by our scientists on Saturday, 22.11.2014 in Munich / Deutsches Museum at the NanoDay 2014*. Young and old were given insight into the world of Nano Chemistry by experts with carefully developed experiments. In this context, the interdisciplinary project “Solar Technologies Go Hybrid“, which is exploring innovative concepts for converting solar energy into electricity and non-fossil fuels, was well represented there amongst others by our Key Lab through Marcus Schulze and Valentin Kunz.

*Initiated by “Nanosystems Initiative Munich” (NIM) in collaboration with „Solar Technologies Go Hybrid“ and the "Center for New Technologies" (ZNT)/  “Deutsches Museum”, Munich.
