Marvin designed an Inside Front Cover
24.08.2020For his paper "14N–1H HMQC solid-state NMR as a powerful toolto study amorphous formulations – an exemplary study of paclitaxel loaded polymer micelles", Marvin got the chance to design an Inside Front Cover, which is now available online!
The front piece is based on the photo a traditional wine press, which can be found in the picturesque village of Dettelsbach. The image plays with the underlying problems of NMR using nitrogen as the main nucleus: While 15N signals of his samples are clustered around similar values and the signals need to be dispersed, the corresponding 14N axes need to be (com)pressed to obtain meaningful data.
