Successful lecture tour to Brazil

Professor Matthias Lehmann was invited by several Brazilian liquid crystals researchers (Eduard Westphal, Hugo Gallardo, Ivan Helmuth Bechthold, Daniela Zambelli Mezalira and Juliana Eccher) to give a talk at the XVIII MRS Meeting with more than 2000 delegates. Besides two invited lectures at Balneárío Camboríú (MRS Meeting) and the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Florianópolis about functional liquid crystals, Professor Lehmann had conversations about binational cooperations between the liquid crystal research groups.

Erfolgreiche Vortragsreise nach Brasilien

Professor Matthias Lehmann besuchte auf Einladung mehrerer brasilianischer Flüssigkristallforscher (Eduard Westphal, Hugo Gallardo, Ivan Helmuth Bechthold and Daniela Zambelli Mezalira) die XVIII MRS Tagung mit über 2000 Delegierten. Neben zwei eingeladenen Vorträgen in  Balneárío Camboríú (MRS Meeting) und an der Universität Florianópolis zu funktionalen Flüssigkristallen, führte Professor Lehmann intensive Gespräche über binationale Kooperationen der Flüssigkristallgruppen.
