Assistant professor position (W1, Junior Professorship) in the area of theoretical supramolecular chemistry with tenure track 

The Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg (Germany) invites applications for an assistant professor position (W1, Junior Professorship) in the area of theoretical supramolecular chemistry with tenure track. Tenure will be granted pending successful mid-term- and final-review of the initial 3+3 year appointment.

The Professorship

The appointee will be affiliated with the Center for Nanosystems Chemistry (CNC) and should have experience with the quantum chemical modeling of supramolecular structures and molecular assemblies.

Prerequisites 

Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree, demonstrated teaching skills and additional academic achievements. Candidates who, at the time of application, have been employed as researcher at a German university for more than six years total (including doctoral studies) are not eligible to apply.
