Two new Postdocs joined our group

The year 2025 starts with two new group members: We are happy to welcome Dr. Yi Xu and Dr. Vishnu E. Krishnan as new members of our research group!

Dr. Yi Xu studied physical chemistry at Renmin University in China and received her doctorate in this field at the Technical University of Munich last year. After a postdoctoral stay at the group of Prof. Jürgen Hauer, she is now starting her research on the development and application of new methods of transient absorption spectroscopy in our group.

Dr. Vishnu E. Krishnan studied chemistry at the Universities of Calicut and Hyderabad in India. He also completed his PhD last year at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram on the topic “Charge Carrier Dynamics in CdSe Nanocrystals: A Single-Particle Spectroscopy Perspective”. His upcoming research includes the synthesis of semiconducting nanocrystals and their investigation using new methods of nonlinear spectroscopy.
