Daimler and Benz Scholarship for Jan Gerrit Horstmann

Our research group will be funded by the renowned Daimler and Benz Foundation over the next two years. The funding, totalling 40,000 euros, will support the establishment of our laboratory for the control of structural dynamics in the mid-infrared. It will also enable our students to present their research results at international conferences and expand their network.

The non-profit Daimler and Benz Foundation promotes independent science and research to analyse the interactions between humans, the environment, and technology and strengthens the dialogue between science and society. With its scholarship programmes, it specifically supports outstanding young scientists and thus makes a sustainable contribution to the future viability of research and innovation.
