03/30/2019

In September, the 40th Annual Discussion Meeting of the German Magnetic Resonance community took place in Leipzig. It was organized by Prof. Jörg Matysik and his workgroup and provided a platform for discussion of a really broad range of topics from the fields of NMR and EPR spectroscopy with scientists from all over Germany.

Sebastian contributed by presenting a Poster on the use of solution-NMR methods to investigate fluorine containing compounds within polypropylene oxide – polyethylene oxide micelles and Ann-Christin gave a presentation concerning solid-state NMR of organometallic compounds in the small molecule session.

The city of Leipzig was very welcoming as well. After a short 1 h city tour, the conference dinner was held in the Auerbachskeller, which was frequented by Goethe himself during his studies from 1765-1768 and is the most famous and second oldest restaurant in the city.
