Presenting research in an eye-catching way

High-profile scientific topics were discussed at the RNA Club 2025 meeting in Prague on 31 October. RNA Club conferences focus on regulation of gene expression, RNA editing, RNA degradation and quality control, non-coding RNAs, pre-mRNA splicing, structure and molecular dynamics of RNA, RNA synthesis, RNA in development, RNA viruses, translation control and much more.

Martin informed conference participants about his poster on ‘In vitro selection of DNA-cleaving deoxyribozymes that differentiate methyl modification in DNA’. But it wasn't just his research work that was celebrated at the event: dressed in lederhosen and armed with pretzels and beer from his new home in Bavaria, he was sure to attract the attention of visitors. And his initial enthusiasm for the specialities led to numerous stimulating discussions on the subject matter.
