    Key Research Interests

    Our research goals involve (1) bottom-up synthesis of atomically precise, structurally well-defined enantiopure chiral functional molecules (2) to use in-depth spectroscopic investigations to get insight into the structure–property relationship, analyze effects that arise from the marriage of chirality and optoelectronic properties, (3) electron microscopic analysis to study their self-assembly behavior, and (4) explore the potential of these nanostructures for applications in organic electronics and investigate physical phenomena namely chirality induced spin selectivity and magneto-chiral anisotropy in a quest to develop multifunctional spintronics devices.
